We harness the power of water, wind and sun and cutting-edge technologies more than almost anyone else in Europe. From electricity generation to transportation to retail and distribution, we work all along the energy value chain. Our professional fields are correspondingly diverse.
The VERBUND summer internship offers insight into various areas with a technical or economic focus during the summer holidays.

 Bachelor’s dissertation or master’s thesis:
You are welcome to apply to us with a proposal addressing another subject from the STEM or business sector.
Interested? Apply for one of the suggested topics or with your own subject for a dissertation/thesis. Please also submit your CV and a covering letter on the topic.
We will forward your documents to the relevant department and then contact you.

Do you want to gain experience in the working world during your degree course and get insights into VERBUND? Then you’re in the right place!
At VERBUND, students studying a STEM subject can work at the same time as studying.
Working alongside studying means that you have permanent employment during your degree course and can work for up to 20 hours per week. In the summer, it is possible to expand this to 40 hours per week for up to three months.
In addition, 16 ECTS must be achieved per semester.

Students with a technical or business focus can complete a mandatory internship of 3 to 6 months with us.

Even if no suitable job vacancy is currently advertised, you can submit an online application to VERBUND.
You can also apply for a job quickly and easily on your mobile device.
When submitting a speculative application, it is important to send your CV and covering letter so that we know which area you are interested in.
Please note that it is not possible to submit multiple applications within one year.

Whether in the technical or commercial field, direct entrants work on real projects and tasks from the get-go. Independent decisions are required within the area of responsibility. Naturally, these are always coordinated within an interdisciplinary team, where everyone is a top expert for their area or can develop into one. The tasks are a good mix between what is known and what is new. This makes a contribution to the success of the company from the outset.
