Fraudsters in the USA are misusing the VERBUND brand for fake job offer emails in order to steal personal data from job seekers.
VERBUND warns of fake emails that have appeared in the USA. Using the domain ‘us-verbund.com’, fraudsters are attempting to obtain personal data from job seekers with fake job offers. VERBUND would like to make it clear that these job offers and commitments do not originate from VERBUND. Legal action has been taken.
VERBUND has no activities in the USA and is not looking for personnel through third parties. Fraud attempts of this kind are not new and are difficult to prevent. It is therefore important for VERBUND to make it clear that these are fake job offers.
